- You have completed a college education
- You have several years of experience in retail sales and consulting
- You are familiar with the flower and plant industry through several years of experience in a similar position
- You are communicatively strong and have a customer-oriented attitude
- You have an excellent command of the German language both verbally and in writing
- You work in a result-oriented way
- You are a team player
Job Description:
- Act as the first point of contact between the buyer and the company
- maintain relationship with existing customer, including by providing timely and comprehensive information about products or services
- Provide customer support in both technical and organizational terms
- Identifying customer needs and providing advice on them
- development of programming seasonal offerings
- drafting and establishing week/month/theme programs
- Processing and following up on daily orders

As a full-time buyer of flowers at Gedi B.V. you will be in contact with our national and international suppliers and purchase the best flowers. In doing so, you will work as part of a team and ensure proper handling of the procurement process. In doing so, you do order processing from A to Z.
Purchasing and calling off weekly cut flowers, monitoring and adjusting stock levels and delivery times, processing purchase orders and presenting sales opportunities to your colleagues in the sales department are among the duties.
Outside of day-to-day operations, you are a driving force to make operations easier, better and more customer-friendly.

- You have knowledge of the flower industry through several years of experience in a similar position

- You have a highly developed logical and analytical understanding
